Club Zonder Filter x Patta x LA Gear Fireball

For girls living the retro funk, Club Zonder alongside Patta have begun the revival of LA Gear as they team up to co-create the Fireball. The shoe itself is as bold as it gets with numerous details ranging from the brightly chosen fireball red upper and brogue punching to the use of bows on the heels. The return of the LA Gear from the ashes can largely be attributed to the work of two ladies, Kristel and Josine of Club Zonder Filter, a Dutch based production company. Sneaker Freaker also features the two in an extensive interview which talks about the need for an LA Gear return as well as what we can expect upcoming from LA Gear. The Club Zonder Filter x Patta x LA Gear Fireball releases September 13th with a confirmed list of retailers including Solebox, Sneakersnstuff, colette, Patta and 24 Kilates.

So I might have been able to pull these off as a guy until I saw the back. Wat the hell is up with the back? I guess I’ll have to inform my female sneakerhead friends on these

These are cool. Yea, the bow won’t work for me, but they look dope. I used to have an ill pair of neon green, white, and black LA Gear’s when I was a kid. I wish someone would revamp the line.

la gear was, is and will always be the epitome of wack. they dropped mad knockoffs (remember the aj4 bites from 89/90?) - something has definitely gone terrible wrong when payola/revisionist nostalgia has a bullshit brand like this, founded by robert greenberg, who founded the equally wack skechers after la gear deservedly went bankrupt, is looked at with fondness. a mix of big budgets, collaborators, hype coverage and rose-tinted stories goes a long way, but can’t polish a turd. same goes for spx and troop. getthefuckouttahere.

ladies, if you want this aerobic look without making a dick of yourself, stick to the 54.11s.

but hey, each to their own and all.

Put neon colors on anything and the beasties will eat it up. Maybe if my poop was neon orange with neon green specks someone will eat.
