Leaving the world of instituted art prematurely, Sam Flores would go on to become an established self-educated illustrator and fully grasp the concept of fine art and product design. His unforgettable aesthetic was combined with the desire to make a uni-sex design for the warm weather. This sneaker just marks the latest in the Upper Playground/Sam Flores saga as more products are on the horizon including a double vinyl effort to celebrate UP’s 10th anniversary.
