As tradeshows look to invade Las Vegas early next week, we’ve seen many shy away from the traditional confines of actual tradeshow floors to feature their upcoming collections in different settings. The Suite – Escape from New York features a close-knit bunch of predominately New York based brands who have looked to set up their own event which features a fashion showcase with a party environment. Erik Brunetti of FUCT will present his “Star Spangled Bummer” exhibit alongside the Rockers’ Poster exhibition with musical acts including Juju of the Beatnuts. The brands showing upcoming lines include King Stampede, Mighty Healthy, Mishka, Proof 7, Flying Coffin, Sketch NYC and the Boundless Family. The event will take place at the Palazzo Hotel on Tuesday, August 26th with subsequent open bar on hand.
