Stussy, the leading streetwear brand since 1987, will team up with Las Vegas’ Fruition Anomaly shop for a special store installation. The collaboration will feature deadstock Stussy pieces culled from the brand’s archives that Fruition will sell in shop and online at www.fruitionlv.com. With this three month installation and retail project, Stussy takes its cornerstone inspirations of surf, skate, hip-hop, reggae and punk lifestyle and remixes them with Fruition’s vintage-inspired, high/low aesthetic that draws from the very best of street fashion, old and new.

As part of the installation, a photography exhibit will document these vintage pieces in a modern context – exemplifying how the trend cycle keeps turning and recycling, asking the viewer “Do You Know What Time It Is?” The shots were taken at locations legendary to insiders only – Luv It Custard, famed music venue The Huntridge Theater, and the Neon Boneyards where casino lights go to die – far from the flash of more typical Las Vegas locales. A video reel of vintage Stussy advertisements and promo videos will play in store and on the web. A Stussy x Fruition version of the original SS link tee will be produced in limited quantity of 300 and sold exclusively at Fruition. Approximately 25 styles (150 pc total) of deadstock including hats, tees and boxer shorts culled from the Stussy archives will be priced between $40 – $150.

It’s one of the classic pillar brands,” says Chris Julian, co-owner of Fruition. “This was a great opportunity to show the history of Stussy in a new light. It’s done with our mentality for a new tribe of inspired young minds and empowered artistic individuals here in our city and the entire world. Stussy always knows who to work with, a reason they’ve stayed relevant all these years, so we feel really honored to be presenting this.”
