Around the world, only a select handful of sneaker spots were given the opportunity to release the latest Staple Design x New Balance 575 “Pigeon” as August 6th marked the shoe’s release date. Here’s a recap of some of the sights around the world including New Zealand’s Qubic, Leftfoot Singapore, Le Vault Singapore, Reed Space New York and Barneys New York. After the dust had settled and based on the time differences in releases, Joe Chen was the very first person to cop a pair at Qubic in New Zealand. Unlike the previous Nike SB Dunk Low Pigeon release in New York, the event was a fair bit more tame.

i don’t mind with the high price and overhype, its part of the game…but i don’t like resellers. I know2, everybody wants to make some bucks but in my personal opinion, resellers are the worst.I don’t think they in it for the love of the sneaks but for the love of the money, hence “FLOM”.

i was the number #3 at barneys with jesus (#1), the camp out was pretty interesting and fun. met alot good people and got to take a picture with lupe fiasco since he stopped by the store. i bet he landed himself a pair. dayam celebrities. overall these shoes are amazing for people who are into strictly runners. alot of people need to reconfigure their hype because if you were to rock kicks til your 40 something yrs old, i don’t think dunks jordans and af1 are considered made for the elderly. so stick to runners.

These actually look better than the dunks to me. But nothing to go crazy over. I saw the line the day b4 they dropped out here in nyc. The line was not packed at all. They ok. I think they really need to pop off the AF1 pigeon shoe for NYC heads only. Now thats a sneaker i would send someone to make a line for cause i dont do lines. Or bogart some clown for their spot. But these jump offs are aight…

“the sneaker game has become a sickening world of overhype, wack design, rich kids, and resellers. fucking shame.” Truer words haven’t been spoken!

how are they already at flightclub for 8 bills?…man the GAME is DISGUSTING now…it shouldn’t be like this

I wou”the malicious price gouging of the (scum) resellers on these limited releases is (further) killing the game. go collect stamps you douche bags!” Exactly. Also, I would like to say that the next time I hear someone hyping their New Balance’s or making anything more of them then just generic looking running shoes will be the first time.

These retailed for £60 ($120) in the UK fuckin’ kype kids have ruined this shoe though, cunts who are only buing it ‘cus of the pigeon on the back and are not even fans of New Balance. FUCK resellers aswell.

the shoes i hate but the shirt is fly

I actually think those 575s are much cleaner than the dunk was. I like the style of the shoe though I wish they would have made it in an inverse colorway (i.e. orange base with grey accents)

im sure no one brought them to fligh club already… they whenever somethings dropped in NY they work out an amount that they skim off the top and get no matter what.

ha ha already at Flight Club, how dispicable. Cant you guys just enjoy your shoes???!!!

I don’t mean to be condescending, but why’s everyone in these photos crazy over this shoe? What’s so special about it?
