Ricoh R10 Digital Compact Camera
by Charles Cheng, August 19, 2008
With the overwhelming popularity of social networking sites causing the constant need to update your friends and family on your life, a good compact camera is a must. Japanese electronics company, Ricoh, just released their new R10 compact digital camera with lots of firepower. It features a 3-inch screen, 7.1x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel CCD sensor that can shoot from ISO80 to ISO1600. Not only that, but it also has four-person face recognition, anti-shake compensation, 1-cm macro mode, and easy presets that automatically levels the contrast and sharpness of the images. It comes in black, brown, and silver, and will be available September 5th in Japan.

Agreed with everyone here.
just get a canon G9, hy would you even post this camera, I and any other photographer know that this camera is for playtime, it int serious at all…
ahh dayumn… I have an R8 and I cant agree more with what is said above. Nice design, weak delivery.
Not impressed… looks and sounds exactly the same as the r8 which failed to del. ver. The flash was pretty much useless, the image stabilization didn’t work effectively, and the face detection was unreliable. I think I’ll wait for the R12 nothing seems to have changed.
