Puma Silent Gesture Night

Revolving around the historic gesture of former sprinting champion Tommie Smith, the black American sprinter aimed to bring light to the racial situation at the time as he occupied the 1st place position at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico. In a recent party thrown in France, the aforementioned Tommie Smith was on hand alongside legends in their own right, De La Soul as the event embraced the ground-breaking gesture. To compliment the night’s events, interviews with both Tommie Smith and De La Soul were conducted with the subject matter delving into political climate of the past and present.
