Nike Flywire Installation by Darbotz

Posted by: L.A. Ruano / August 11, 2008 / 4 Comments

Using his signature style, designer/graffiti artist Darbotz, was given an opportunity to create an installation with Nike newest Flywire technology as inspiration. Using a wooden structure, wires, and his favorite medium, Darbotz creates movement through spray paint capturing the essence of this new technology. Created to add support and strength while decreasing weight, Nike’s usage of this structural wire has made headlines especially surrounding the creation of the Hyperdunk model, made for the Beijing Olympic games.
