nike air yeezy 1 500x400 Introduction to the Nike Air Yeezy

Behind all the headlines regarding his musical talent and fashionista attributes, lies an extraordinarily creative individual serving as a constant reminder to me and so many others, that dedication, hard work, and hands down following your dream pays big dividends. Since Kanye West burst onto the Hip-Hop scene with the release of The College Dropout in 2004, he has been a mainstay in the industry providing hits for himself all while playing the role of producer on some of the hottest tracks in recent memory.

Expressing his artistic talents further, Mr.West set out to work on what would eventually become his signature sneaker. Combining details from his love for designer shoes, West chose a high top platform with features of various Air Jordan models including the AJIII and AJV while incorporating a bulkier tongue, fashionable patent leather mid-foot strap along with high quality textiles. To top off the design, a glow in the dark sole was added, complementing the 2008 Glow in the Dark Tour. With the help of Nike’s Innovative Kitchen over an extensive several months, all of West’s visions molded into something that would embody the artist in every way. Garnering attention since the sneakers first appearance at the 2008 Grammy Awards, there have been various rumors regarding release but as of now will remain exclusive to Kanye West in his size 12, with a release looking very dim. For further information regarding the entire design process, Sole Collector is doing a feature here.

    the game ISN’T dying ****

1st. the game is dying, its just developing a new style, like technology it grows and becomes more futuristic, just cause it isnt retro jordans and old school AF1’s doesn’t mean that the sneaker world cant grow into new and more interesting styles. For all we know, these kicks could be the hottest drop of the next few years. Also kanye’s bringing in fashion into these sneakers, its just weird for nike to incorporate these new features of skytop style and patent leather strapping and such. 2) Hypesneakers is a definite fake. They look on sneaker blogs like this one and find new style and replicate them. If you look at kicks dictionarys you’ll see how their fakes are different from the real deal. 3) The Air Yeezy is a sneaker that will go into production, according to kanyes word in interviews and raps, as we can see from the pictures he has his design figured out, the sneaker will definately drop latest end of winter.
