A very small percentage of our readers get to know the people behind Hypebeast on a personal basis. Even though some of us are separated by thousands of miles we all share a common goal: providing content of the highest degree for our readers through hard work, motivation, dedication and lack of sleep. Recently h(y)r collective caught up with our very own Eugene Kan, going over details about what keeps Hypebeast at the top of it’s game, the future of internet advertising, and a truly inspirational story behind Eugene’s all mighty office title belt. Check it out now at h(y)r collective.

Hi there, I hope you’re well. I believe someone at Hypebeast used to deal with my mentor, Jill Gate? I was hoping to speak to someone at Hypneast about the following project. James Jarvis has done a retail installation to celebrate the launch of Nike Sportswear. Using the Iconic Windrunner as inspiration James has created his own unique interpretation of the Windrunner. Below is the basic information surrounding James’ work for Nike Sportswear. Niketown London is featuring the iconic work of James Jarvis – best known for his signature collectable toys and models. Passers by can’t fail to notice the giant and colourful “bird” Jarvis designed in the main Niketown window - inspired by the Nike Split Windrunner - whilst inside the Niketown entrance, another eight panel vinyl re-unites the Bird and its Windrunner again! I was just wondering if this was of interest for Hypebeast? I can get hold of images of the Nike Town installation and arrange an email / phone interview with James to support the piece. Please let me know. Many thanks for your time. Kaash
