project BLUE is an initiative in the surf industry between six competitors (Billabong, DAKINE, Electric, Nixon, O’Neill and Reef) to create a collaborative or complementary product line where a portion of the proceeds (roughly $2 per product) goes to the non-profit Surfrider Foundation to help keep the beaches and oceans clean. Electric recently expanded their participation in project BLUE to include the entire polarized product line, including this new style, the Fiend. The Fiend features a lightweight Grilamid frame with Nickel/Silver Alloy construction and polarized lenses. They come in four colorways; gloss black with bronze lenses, gloss white with grey lenses, matte vintage green with grey glass lenses and gloss black with grey lenses.
