In participating with the Olympic spirt, David Z. has teamed up with Clarks to create the Metal Pack on the British footwear’s iconic Wallabee. The high quality leather features a deliberate wrinkled treatment with a black patent leather trim. These represent some of the boldest offerings ever for the Wallabee which has traditionally be released only in relatively subtle styles. The Metal Pack will release on Thursday, August 21st at DavidZ.com and in-store at their Broadway New York location. Pre-orders begin August 13th.

time to think outside the box clammy…. i’m sure you have a pair of shoes or kicks that evolved from a classic. i love original wallabees but i like these and these hopefully these types of projects will help bring back wallabees.

Gold ones are crazy, just pre ordered.

Not something I would wear, but on a runway the silver pair could do some serious work. I see no hope for the gold, but perhaps someone with a different perspective could make them pop.

Silver and gold Bapestas? Really wasn’t feeling those. The Supras caught on once everybody and their mom saw JayZ in the gold ones. But these? I think only Ghostface can get away with these though.
