Few cultural documenters can hold a candle to legendary photographer Ricky Powell. Commonly referred to as the Fourth Beastie Boy for his exploits following the fabled group, he has taken a camera where few have ventured and procured some of the most stunning and rare imagery ever seen from hip-hop groups to artists and celebrities. In a dual purpose event upcoming titled “Ricky Powell & His World Famous Slide Show”, Ricky Powell will launch his latest collection done with Altamont as well as cap things offer with a personally curated photographic slide show. A full collection of apparel includes sweatbands and numerous photo print offerings. The event takes place Sunday, July 20th in Los Angeles.
