MF Doom: Sniper Elite

Posted by: Subculture

Daniel Dumile has made quite an impact on the independent Hip Hop world by unleashing his ultra weird, spaced out, stream of consciousness alter ego MF Doom on an audience that either embrace the drugged out flow or are bewildered by the unique approach to MCing. The late J-Dilla is now an icon in the league of producers for his construction of soulful, mood pieces that was part Native Tongues part Pete Rock. Before J Dilla’s untimely death in 2006, he and Doom where supposed to connect to make a collaboration album. Unfortunately neither artist saw this come to fruition. However, there are a few tracks that have recently been unveiled and spread on the internet of some music that they put together before Dilla passed. “Sniper Elite” is just the tip of the iceberg of what we could have expected from such collaboration

That’s great that the tracks are leaked everywhere online but you could show some respect to the original source and mention that this track is available as a 12-inch (analog and digital) at the new beta version of the Stones Throw online store.
