Lakai “My Way” Colorway Contest

Lakai has opened the lines to sneaker creatives, skaters and just people with time on their hands in general to participate in their recently launched “My Way” Colorway Contest. The subject at hand are both the Telford and Manchester Select with a template available for download. Winners will receive a year’s supply of their shoe as well as see it featured in the 2009 fall/winter Lakai collection. The contest closes on August 5th at 12:01 am PST with a winner announced on August 11th.

the winning shoe sucks. No imagination at all, just throw 4 colors that have been used together so many times. Maybe if they stepped out of the box with this contest, they might actually make a decent pair of shoes

I’ve always respected what Lakai has been doing since 99 but this looks a little too similar to what C1RCA has been doing with mags like Shoes Up France, Lodown Germany, Uno Spain, Vice Italy…

Lakai should have chosen a different model in the first photo. it looks like a nike dunk rip-off.
