Among the by-products of Nike’s Air Max 90 model was the creation of the Current originally previewed earlier this summer. In what is essentially a contemporary update of the legendary Air Max 90, the Current features an updated sole and predominately mesh based upper for improved ventilation. Aside from the inaugural releases, one of the upcoming releases is a collaborative effort with Kevin Lyons at the helm. The sneaker features select artwork on the inner lining and tag. A slated release date is set for August.
