Japanese fashion designer, Junya Watanabe from Commes des Garcons, collaborates with Vans to design these very special boots. The shoes come in rough brown leather with beige laces. It has very detailed touches all around including the wingtips and side zippers.

    These kind of look like designer fishing boots, but they’re neat none the less. Watanabe is a pretty solid designer.

    Vans is waaaaaaaay ahead of the curve right now… While Nike keeps recycling and dropping hot dookie, Reebok follows, Adidas and Puma try and fail mostly, VANS is keeping their shit simple, refined and innovative. That’s about the best compliment that I’m ever gonna give a shoe co.

    It was Japanese fashion designer. Vans is like no other. So other than that, Vans was fantastic.
