Once again CLOT will be releasing a rastafarian inspired product, previously we have seen the rasta themed Dunkestos & Footscape Wovens. This new tee uses the Jamaican slang term “Bumbaclot” as the main focus, representing CLOT paying homage to Reggae music and the late great Bob Marley. Starting July 12th, this tee will be available at JUICE in yellow and green colorways, while the red colorway will be an online store exclusive.

hah this is ridiculous, it’s sad that weak lines like CLOT can get on, and cats like DISIZZIT (who didn’t get on for years until somewhat recently) have it hard off, some of the best artists don’t make it because the consumers are totally vacant! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with paying respect to jamaica or to bob marley, but this is surely a misguided attempt, if not a totally corporate folly.

hahahaha.for me to be expecting a lot of “i want this shirt!!” I’m surprised a lot of resentments.Apparently CLOT havent got the slightest idea of rastafarianism.and please Bob would shoot Edison dead if he finds out CLOT was so called paying homage to him.Edison, stop listening to No Woman No Cry. BETTER YET.STOP TT RED YELLOW GREEN BLACK REFERENCING.YOU GOT YR OWN CULTURE TO PAY HOMAGE TO.

WOW… Whoever buys this shirt needs to STAY AWAY from anybody from the Caribbean!! This word is a VERY DISRESPECTFUL saying, and will get you fucked up..Seriously!! This word is in NO Fashion related to Bob Marley. He wouldnt even use the word.. It’s a very bad word… again, your life could be in danger if you was rocking this shirt in NYC. -Just goes to show how much CLOT knows about Jamaican culture, or caribbean culture for that matter! Stay far away from this shirt!!

why are there so many no talent hacks with a “streetwear” clothing line? because it’s fucking easy to do that’s why.

side note, sorry. i realize Clot is edison chen’s thing, and not japanese. also, sorry, it was their press release, not yours hypebeast. CLOT needs to get a clue asap! and do research!

Haha! You could be arrested for wearing this shirt in JA, I’m not even kidding. Truth_Hurts is right. Essentially you’re wearing a shirt that labels you as a “bum cloth” aka “pussy cloth” aka “bloody tampon”. Ridiculous!

A true Jamaican with any class at all would not be caught dead in that shirt. Do they even have a clue?

The Hong Kong CLOT crew stated in their press release: “CLOT aim to find the proper way to show respect to the Reggae music and adore the legendary Jamaican musician Bob Marley.”

this is so wicked funny on so many levels. first, a clueless japanese company putting something that essentially means “period rag” on a t-shirt, then a clueless streetwear kid saying its a Bob Marley thing. wow, you guys, wow. could not be making it more obvious how insular your lives are.
