Busta Rhymes: Throw it Up feat. Lil Wayne & Ludacris
|by Subculture, July 6, 2008

There is perhaps no one in Hip Hop with more familiarity with posse cuts, guest appearances and show stealing verses then Busta Rhymes. When the young animated MC first touched down on the scene with Leaders of The New School, he was always the kid in the group who stood out by injecting endless energy, crazy metaphors and an emphatic delivery in his rhymes. He made a name for himself as a solo artist by completely destroying every posse cut and remix that he got his hands on, most notably his memorable classic closing verse on “Scenario”. Therefore, it is no surprise that Busta routinely rounds up some of his favorite MCs for guest appearances on his albums, usually unleashing his rapid fire bars at the end proving that time has put no rust on his delivery. “Throw it Up” which will appear on Busta’s eighth studio album “Blessed” features notable appearances by Hip Hop heavyweights Lil Wayne and Ludacris who bring their southern bravado and punch line heavy style to the Cool and Dre production. However, it’s Busta who stands out on the track lacing the track with a verse that reminds us why he will always be a force to be reckoned with.

just a suggestion. keep with the fashion, art/culture posts. LOSE the music posts. trust me when i say its a waste of time. we already have a billion music blogs to visit. no point in crowding your site with something nobody uses. and for those who do use HYPEBEAST as a music ref. thats incredibly weak. anyways, my 2 cents.
cause this ISN’T FADER!
anthony, ur tampons hanging out and u need to wipe ur vagina. busta is def one of the best
I Totally Agree With Anthony. I Don’t Check Hypebeast For Music. The Other Thing Is You Guys Seem To Always Be Like 2 Days Late With All Of The New Tracks. I Love Your Website And I Check It Everyday But Please Just Stick To Streetwear News! BTW Hot Track.
i enjoy the music posts
Busta = Brotha’bag. Should have stayed on that ol’ school tribe flow he had before he DOUCHED out!
