Originally launched in the first half of 2007, the Black Fleece collection from Brooks Brothers gave the almost 200 year old brand an all new dynamic as it looked to push the boundaries and create clothing on a new level. With Thom Browne as guest designer for the first collection, he created a series of pieces which not unlike the styles seen here embodied a distinct style with many classical pieces. Here’s a sneak peek into the 2008 Fall/Winter collection which emphasizes a strong degree of menswear roots and pedigree with the eton jacket and argyle sweater.
