We’ve witnessed the huge rise in both popularity and prices commanded by British street artist Banksy’s original works. However, in a combative move to prevent people from cashing in on the craze, Banksy has instituted the “Pest Control” committee. This move a directly related to the growing number of pieces seen on various walls that have been ripped out with the explicit desire to put on the chopping block. With the “Pest Control” involved, pieces will officially be verified and authenticated and effectively preserving the works as public pieces of art.

here’s an idea, if you don’t want your art stolen don’t put it on public walls… Banksy is such a pretencious wanker, Graf artist get there shit painted over all the time, it’s the same thing, it’s one of the many risk you take while painting. FU Banksy, this guy is my hero: http://hypebeast.com/2008/05/no-more-banksy/
