April77 2008 Fall/Winter Collection

April77 just came out with their 2008 Fall/Winter collection titled “We Lived Our Lives in Black.” The collection pays homage to the mid-1980s and early 1990s non-Londonian British, Scottish, and Irish Culture, and is influenced by the musical influence of Jesus and Mary Chain. They focus on minimalistic power by having straight-legged pants, oversized sweaters, stonewashed jeans, and rigid jackets. Most of the pieces are monochromatic in black or gray with a focus on eccentric fit and cuts. The collection includes a wide range of products including leather jackets, coats, sweaters, jeans, tees, and even suits.

While April77 had alot of misses for me, it also had some real quality pieces….While I can understand some peoples anguish on ‘hypebeast’ selecting this line to report on…..I can understand why ‘hypebeast’ selected this brand to advertise……This is the interenet and any can and will view it…..plus while these pieces may not work together for most they WILL work seperately for some………PEACE
