Alife x Q-tip “Lyrics to Go” T-shirts

Respected street wear brand Alife has emblazoned many of their well constructed t-shirts with slogans, pictures and logos of some of our favorite artists over the years. Alife now pays homage to legendary Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest by featuring Q-tip’s instantly recognizable lyrics on the front. The black and white tees carry Alife’s signature logo on the back as well as the name of Tribe’s classic song “Lyrics to Go” from their seminal Midnight Marauders album as well as the opening verse penned by The Abstract from Excursions on the equally brillant “Low End Theory” on the front. The shirts are released in conjunction with Tribe’s reformation and performance at the Rock the Bells tour.

Rock the Bells T.O. was crazy!!! very good show…i heard Rakim had sound issues but let it be known he’s one of the illest live too! Very happy to see nuff younger heads i didnt know come thru for some classic hip-hop…Caribana is next!

I could do without the giant “Alife” on the front, but a great overall idea. The only thing that would be better would be a shirt of just Phife’s face. Or maybe a shirtless Q-Tip shot. That stuff would be funny.
