Freshjive Protests

Things seem to be heating up in Fairfax as recent pictures and videos produced by Bobby Hundreds feature a small group of protesters from the Jewish Defense League outside Freshjive’s Reserve store objecting to some recent t-shirt releases from Freshjive. The tees in question include the depiction of former Palestine leader and generally unpopular character Yasser Arafat and Palestinian children wielding AK-47s. On his blog, Freshjive founder Rick Klotz offers his own 2 cents on all the negativity surrounding his designs in a response that reveals his reasoning on why these designs should not be perceived as anti-Semitic (Rick Klotz himself is Jewish). However this whole situation shows the power of a graphic t-shirt as well as Freshjive’s continual brand philosophy of creating active discourse with his products.

    A) There’s no proof that the woman is actually a zionist, or a jew. Looks like a bunch of crazies acting crazy. B) this whole “fuck the jews” shit is mad ignorant. C) Acting like Jewish people are aggressors is hilarious if you know your history. America has a vested interest in Israel. How many other countries backed or created a need for jews to move to Israel in the first place?     Jewish are always so ready to victimized themsleves, although the have invaded a country, massacre and humilliated palestinians for decades (20 palestinias died for each Israeli in the conflict), they still try to make it seem that they are the victims. Arafat was many things, but over all, a leaver who lived and died defending his land from an invasor.

    I really dislike the fact that once the [younger] woman who was trying to take charge said she was muslim, the crazy old woman instantly called her a slut. I fail to see her logic in that.     Here’s what I don’t understand this crazy witch of a lady is standing out there expecting to have her opinion heard but when anyone else tried to voice their opion she started blarring that siren in their face isn’t that a tad hipocritical and igronant. To be honest both parties in this thing acted like children but still I’ll side with fresh jive any day just because that lady is nuts and its people like her that make sick. All these special interest groups around the nation want to do is bring attention to their own nationality and that is all they care about.
