Here is a look at Orisue’s 2008 Summer Look Book. In a run-up to the Beijing Olympics, adidas will launch the AZX project. Utilizing the ZX as the collection of choice, 26 different collaborations are on the way from some of the world’s most respected sneaker shops and entities. Although little is known in the form of which ZX shoe will be paired with which store, a preview includes collaborators including Huf, ACU, Neighborhood, Bodega, Foot Patrol, Livestock, Goodfoot, UNDFTD, Major and Rivington Club. With a strong fixed gear culture in Japan, T19 and the HECTIC crew make formidable teachers as they ride you through back riding, skids, back circles, lift ups and wheelies. As this represents Chapter 1, we expect a full out series on the way down the road.
BTNC (Beatnic) will be releasing the second installment of their New Era hat releases planned for this year at the end of July. The first, which was a Gucci inspired number, sold out in mere minutes, and this release should be no different. The three hats are inspired by the world wide sporting phenomenon, the Olympics. The gold, silver, and bronze embroidered BTNC logos are designed to resemble the coveted medals that are awarded to athletes in acknowledgment of their excellent performances on the grandest of stages.
