At the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the 11 month showcase documents Lois’ effect on the media world through his work on numerous Esquire magazine covers. Increased targeting to the Chinese demographic is something one cannot ignore. These Air Wovens reference the annual Dragon Boat Festival in which people gather to remember the passing of Chinese poet Wut Yuen who passed away at the knowledge of his local army succumbing to defeat. The interior features shiny lacquered floors and extensive wood furnishings to create a one of a kind retail experience. This latest spot is currently open for business.

Joining a strong line up of artists, Raymond Pettibon was among the few select artists chosen to work with UNDFTD on their popular billboard project. Although his opportunity was a few years ago, Pettibon did two custom pairs of Dunk Highs in black/blue and black/red colorways with extensive box art especially for UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz embodying the same art work gracing the billboards. Seen on the internet for the first time, the sneakers showcase the meaning behind Pettibon’s work.
The widespread effect Harold Hunter has had on the skating world among other avenues has left a strong sense of remembrance for the former pro skater. The second annual Harold Hunter Day will take place May 17th in New York with a series of events planned. The day will start off at the Manhattan Bridge Skatepark (corner of Pike & Monroe Streets in Chinatown) with a skate jam going on from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Live music will come courtesy of Pete Rock and DJ’s Neil Nice and Vinny Ponte. The after party will take place later that night at KCDC Skateshop in Williamsburg Brooklyn. The 21+ event will feature free drinks, live music, art installations and photographs of Harold by the way of acclaimed photographer Giovanni Reda.

The latest releases out of Converse celebrating its 100th anniversary are rooted in its fabled flagship, the Chuck Taylor All Star. Two styles are seen here including the Eye-Pop and Piping, each simplistic in their own right but featuring several highlights including subtle color placement and pipping. A release date is slated for June.

Enter the newly announced HTC Diamond. Utilizing Windows Mobile 6.1, the phone features VGA Screen, quad-band HSPDA 7.2 and other iPhone-esque features.
