For their 100th celebration, Converse keeps coming out with surprising and creative products, and this time they teamed up with Pepsi to create these cell phone straps. It seems that Converse spared no details with these little shoes, with print on the back heel, nice texture over the upper, and bottom sole pattern. There are a total of 12 models, including Jack Purcell, Chuck All Star, Larry Bird’s and many other models that are making a comeback for this project. These will be nice accessories to add to the collection.

The reopening of this store also represents Flight Club having four brick and mortar stores (2 in NY, 1 in LA and one in Japan) to compliment its world-famous online speciality shop.

However on the backs of a strong skater-based support, their influence helped in the guiding of design and development of products. Their 2008 spring collection is comprised of their staple denim, shorts and shirts and available now at select Elwood dealers worldwide.
Orchard Street has looked to the courts for its 2008 spring collection inspiration. Bringing on board local tennis clique Claremont, this collection is unparalleled in its representation of the racket sport. Despite the relatively docile nature of tennis, the mash up with street-inspired Orchard Street yielded an interesting combination. also releasing is a signature logo “Gotham” New Era 59FIFTY. The whole collection including the pieces seen here are currently available through Orchard Street’s online store.
Following up closely with the new website re-launch of NexusVII, the Japanese brand has produced a two bag collection with Porter. The bags include a large over-sized Mailman bag and a packable Eco Bag. Both bags include trademark Nexus VII imagery to compliment the less often seen Porter styles.

Amongst the leaders in technical fashion, Visvim has updated their Nomad with patchwork designs, falling under the new sub-label Folk. The pull-over style jacket is complete with Gore-Tex body and patchwork detailing, available across four colors. Additional items include Giza cotton trousers and the Lug t-shirt. Nike SB previews have been running rampant in the last few weeks leaving little to the imagination for whats forthcoming in the next few months. These shots represent Nike SB’s 2008 fall collection, no debut of any new models however a strong focus still remains on many of Nike SB’s bread and butter models like the Dunk, Blazer and P-rod II. As launch dates come closer, look for more detailed shots.

UNDFTD’s second round of items from their 2008 spring collection have been slated for a Thursday, April 10th release and will subsequently hit their online store on April 12th. The collection involves both t-shirts and jackets. The jackets both feature strong athletic inspirations with technical highlights throughout. Some of the pieces have already hit select dealers, check your local UNDFTD dealer for availability.
Once a successful concert poster designer, Spanish born artist and designer Frank Kozik would eventually develop another fruitful career behind his talents as a toy designer. His creative talents have been recognized in an upcoming pair of sunglasses produced jointly with Oakley called “The Future Is Stupid”. The unveiling was part of Oakley’s press and party event on March 31st. The event showcased both previously released, present and future products from the established eyewear company. No word yet on a release date or if the glasses will come fully packaged in a collectible set.
Without a doubt, the rich will still find it necessary to wear luxury items even during a gas attack. Check out these novelty masks supposedly from Diddo Velema in collaboration with Gucci and Louis Vuitton. These jewel encrusted, monogram basted pieces will assure the survival of the richest the day someone decides to push the button.

3Sixteen is at it again, and this time they teamed up with OC-based sunglasses manufacturer, Sabrevision, to create their very first sunglasses design. With Sabrevision’s Sunday frame as a base, 3Sixteen added marbled acetate frame, smoked gradient lenses, and the classic 3Sixteen script logo engraved on the left leg. The sunglasses have three colorways: Amber, Blue, and Grey, and will come in a special custom dust bag. It will be available at select 3Sixteen accounts in June. The new royalty is definitely taking over the reigns with their ever-expanding product lines.
