Artist Dez Einswell’s latest show [Destination Unknown] will open this Saturday at SURU. Known for his “Doodblebarn” creations, the exhibition gives a first hand account of Dez’s fun and interactive world. After associating with Gibson guitars and Peta2, French label APRIL77 nows pays tribute to independent record label, Domino Records. The result is a limited edition box set containing both a deluxe vinyl record and APRIL77’s signature Manchester pique polo shirt. The 12” vinyl record consists of tracks from bands such as Clinic, The Kills, Von Sudenfed, Sons & Daughters, These New Puritans, Lightspeed Champion, Franz Ferdinand, and Stephen Malkmus. The shirt features a pick holder and includes a special Domino x APRIL77 guitar pick. The APRIL77 Tribute To Domino Records package is limited to 440 copies. Available now at the April77 boutique in Paris, at a price of 70 Euros (approximately $110 USD).

In January, photographer Boogie exhibited a selection from his self-titled book at Colette. The man himself was snapping some pictures as you’d expect in his day to day Parisian routine. There’s something about his imagery which features an element of realism that’s rivaled by few.
