Converse 100th Anniversary Skidgrip Repair

Originally conceived in 1940, the Skidgrip is another release to commemorate Converse’s 100th anniversary in 2008. This particular Skidgrip Repair includes a different array of materials and colors with a pre-distressed midsole. Available now at Converse dealers, including ripe.

    I have been looking various places for the “American Flag” or “Bars & Star” Converse skid grip sneakers. After checking with Zappos, Eastbay, local dealers, etc, I contacted by phone and E-Mail Converse (USA) directly. (I also wrote via E-Mail to Converse Japan but never got a reply.) NONE of these dealers nor Converse USA knows about this sneaker! :((( I finally was able to get through the Japanese order form with Ripe, but they do NOT ship to the USA. I REALLY would love to own at least 2 pairs of these in US Mens 10.0, a pair in US Mens 12, and a fourth pair in US Mens 9.5. Yet, I can’t find any Convese dealer selling in the USA and/or shipping to the USA. Considering this is an USA election year and the American flag pattern, I would think Converse should a bunch of these in the USA. Can anyone, PLEASE, help me get several pairs of these really cool sneakers (for a reasonable price, please)?? BTW/FYI: On another website I saw photographs a slip-on version of these CVO sneakers.
