The LD1000 Collection from Nike is based on the original LD1000 model, an innovative long distance sneaker in its heyday. This vintage treatment was meant to mimic the actual aging you’d expect from opening up a pair of brand new albeit 30 year old kicks. However, comfort has been updated with the use of Zoom Air in the heel, arguably one of Nike’s best cushioning systems. The collection also includes a t-shirt and matching hat set.
