Breitling Emergency Collection
by Staff, November 15, 2007

Swiss watchmakers Breitling originally conceptualized their line of watches for the aviation industry. This latest Emergency Collection is distinct return to Breitling’s roots. Each Emergency Collection watch is outfitted with a micro-transmitter which broadcasts on the 121.5 MHz aircraft emergency frequency. In the event of crash landing or accident, the watch can emit a signal to identify its position. A special cap must be unscrewed followed by the extension of an antenna.

I like this watch , unfortunately , there are some issues , I have some questions , such as the distance travelled for emergency call and how long the beacon must be to pick-up this signal. Another issue is that why I have to return it back to the retailer to adjust the key after used, it supposed to be available in manual with it spring and tools
