In a true story of coincidence, Michael Davis of mid 1960′s Detroit’s rock band MC5 stumbled upon their reinterpreted White Panther logo on a pair of Obey jeans his son had just purchased. MC5, perhaps best known for paving the way for punk later had Michael Davis contact Obey to create a legitimate partnership and create this latest collection. No hard feelings though as both parties shared a mutual respect for one another. The collection features an M-65 jacket, a t-shirt and a cap. No word yet on a release date.
