We’re looking for a web developer to lead development of Hypebeast.com and other projects. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and possess excellent communications skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop PHP/MySQL websites
• Maintain PHP/MySQL websites
• Protect site from vulnerabilities/security holes
• Troubleshoot site and server issues
• Communicate technology effectively with managers, designers, and decision makers
Skills required:
• 1 or more years of overall web development experience
• Expert level HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP scripting experience required
• Working knowledge of AJAX
• mySQL database integration experience
• Knowledge of LAMP environment
• Efficient at handling multiple schedules and deadlines
• Experience on large-scale projects that range in variety and complexity including database design
Desired:
• Experience working on CMS sites is a plus
• Degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or related degree is a plus
• Patience
