Tatami (a division of famed sandal maker Birkenstock) and Bape have created an interesting pairing to release this upcoming Tatami sandal blazed with Bapes signature camo. Tatami were originally used as traditional mats of woven straw covered with Igusa rushes and hemmed with cloth. Tatami was originally created and used by the privileged and was considered a comfort and luxury item as only the most important members of society sat upon them.
