Kaws x Burton Snowboard

Kaws just revealed on his Honeyee blog that Burton Japan will be releasing a snowboard he designed for the company. It’s a very detailed piece of sports equipment and comes with a free carry bag specifically designed for the snowboard. The board will be on display at the OF shop and at Burton’s new store in Harajuku, Japan for it’s opening this month.

Not sure if its the manufacturing, lot of boards, or just shotty burton craftsmanship, but I bought this board last year 07/08 season and rode it 56 times in Colorado. Within the first 2 wks, the top layer of laminate began cracking in spider web like fashion. There are 5 spots total. the places near the edge of the board have now cracked and spidered toward the midline as well as the the edge and have lifed off the board. Not sure you want to buy this board even though the underside design kicks #$#.
